Beauty, Style and Fashion is an exhibition which offers an exquisite window into the influential period of the 20th Century through international artworks overflowing with elegance and humour. This is a selling exhibition with 30% of proceeds going to the benefit of the museum.
The exhibition explores the depiction of beauty, style and fashion using a superb selection of original drawings, paintings, gowns and fashion accessories. It opens a unique window on this influential period using international artworks overflowing with elegance and humour. A 1920s-style evening dress made for Joanna Lumley for a stage role, is just one of the beautiful items on display.
The paintings and drawings come from the collection of John Noott, lifelong collector and retired art dealer. The exhibition will run until Sunday, 31st May 2021.
