Welcome Back! The re-opening of the museum with the Gertrude Hermes exhibition is off to a great start.

Many people braved the weather this weekend to visit our new exhibitions on Broadway’s history, the story of wool and coaching in the Cotswold’s.

With the evening launch of the Gertrude Hermes exhibition on Friday 10th, the museum was full to the brim and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Our vice-chair trustee Liz Eyre gave a wonderful speech to explain the museum name change, and thank the Ashmolean in Oxford.

‘We are pleased to announce the name change, which was introduced to link the museum more closely to its community and expand upon the story of the place. It enables us to apply for grants which support our development. Our memorandum of understanding and our partnership working with the Ashmolean in Oxford is stronger than ever as we mature as an organisation. Their support is invaluable.’
