Ian Mackintosh is a retired History teacher and a founder member of the Stroudwater Textile Trust. The Trust is always delighted to host groups at its mills.

Men Behaving Badly considers how authorities responded to outbreaks of disorder in the time before there were police.

Ian will present a number of snapshots of events in the Stroud area from the Middle Ages to the early 19th Century and consider the motives of the law-breakers and the responses of the Court of the Star Chamber, the government and the local authorities.
