Education and Children’s Trails

The museum aims to:

  • Develop trails and activities around particular exhibitions or in response to themes or annual festivals
  • Liaise with schools and teachers to promote the use of the museum and activities in line with the national curriculum
  • Create and develop trails for visitors, schools and families
  • Facilitate activities in the local communities and in response to the needs of schools

Children’s trails are available at the museum throughout the school holidays.

Directions:

By Car – Broadway village is off the A44 between Stow-on-the-Wold and Evesham approaching from the South and off the A44 just after Evesham travelling from Worcester or the M5 junction 6 from the North. Broadway is approximately 1 hour from Oxford, 30 minutes from Cheltenham, 40 minutes from the M5 and 15 minutes from Evesham.

There are 650 spaces in 3 car parks in Broadway. For more information follow the link

By Train – closest stations are Evesham, Honeybourne or Moreton In Marsh on the London to Hereford line (FGW). Oxford to Honeybourne is a 50 minute rail journey. Buses run from Cheltenham to Broadway. The London to Cheltenham route is most helpful for a bus connection.

Broadway Museum and Art Gallery relies on a dedicated team of volunteers who make a huge contribution to the museum and its visitor services. Are you able to spare some time? With full training provided, we are looking for volunteers to join our friendly and dynamic front of house team.

We are also on the lookout for volunteers who may be able offer support in fundraising and marketing.
