We’ve really pushed the boat out for Christmas this year. Outside the museum, we have a stunning display of trees, wreaths and lights. Inside we have a magical new exhibition, including an enchanting model village with working train and ferris wheel.

We’re also running some Christmas-themed craft sessions for the children over the next two weekends. They can get stuck into making santa calendars, paper puppets, cards, tags, lanterns and tree deccies. All materials will be supplied and our crafty experts will be on hand to help out.

The craft activities start at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday on both weekends. I’m told that Father Christmas may well put in an appearance so look out for him. He’s a big bloke in a red suit with a white bushy beard apparently.

You’ll find us at the top of the High Street opposite the Horse and Hound pub. Family tickets (2 adults, up to 2 children) are just £10 and we are open from 10am until 4pm, last entry at 3.30pm. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
