 Create Bell Beaker pots with ‘The Great Pottery Throwdown’ Finalist Dave Short

Dave Short, a finalist on the popular Channel 4 series, ‘The Great Pottery Throw Down’.

Dave will guide the children in creating  Neolithic beaker pots.

Archaeological evidence shows that about 4000 years ago, Bronze Age Bell Beaker people lived in this area.

In this workshop you will:

  • Handle a reproduction bell beaker and learn a little about the lives of the Bell Beaker people.
  • Use pinching and coiling to make a Bell Beaker.
  • Take your beaker home unfired or pay additional £3 to have the pot bisque fired. You will be informed when it is ready for collection from Evesham.

Max no of participants: 8

Suitable for beginners aged 8 and over.

Duration: 1hr 15min

An adult must be present with your child  AT ALL TIMES.
